Humza Chowdhry has over 10 years of structural engineering education and experience. His extensive list of structural engineering projects include: skate parks, medical centers, hospitals, schools, student housing, laboratories, and high end residential projects. He has a Bachelor in Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a Minor in Construction Management from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He obtained his masters in Civil Engineering with a minor in Geotechnical Engineering from San Jose State University. Humza is a registered professional Civil Engineer in the state of California, and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute, and the Structural Engineers of Northern California.
Production Manager
Cesar Pinell is the firms CAD/BIM manager. He has worked on multimillion dollar projects from low to high rise structures. His extensive CAD and BIM knowledge has made him a leader in the industry. Cesar duties include project coordination with engineers and the CAD department during the design process. Establishing and enforcing drafting standards for the CAD department to follow. In addition, Cesar performs detailed quality control of all documents before they are released. He also purchases all CAD department supplies and oversees drawing distribution.
Field/Design Engineer
Shawn Wees serves as the firms Field/ Design Engineer where his duties include developing as built drawings, drafting, and making engineering recommendations. He has over 20 years of construction experience in both residential and commercial work in Santa Cruz County. More recently Shawn has completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Jose State and is currently an engineer in training. He currently is studying for his Masters in Science degree in Civil Engineering and is involved with the structural engineering research with Associate Professors at San Jose State University.
Concrete Specialist
Robert Tovar is the firms Concrete Consultant. Robert has fifteen years experience working with structural, residential and commercial concrete projects. Robert's duties include working closely with the Engineering Team for the duration of the design phase to help establish more efficient means and methods to building retaining walls, foundations, and slabs. He assists with the estimating process to ensure that the client receives the most competitive prices.
